Boy Scouts instilled a romance for exploration at an early age. Today, I’m ignited by exploring America’s National Parks and Forests with my camera in-hand, exploring for the right moment to capture nature’s beasts and rural landscapes. The Scout series has foreground elements that represent the contrast of the human world- graffiti paint and pops of bright acrylic polka dots and brightly colored neon, while minimally adorned by detailed graphics from a vintage 1930’s Boy Scout manual and survival guide.
